What is Steady Clinical?
Steady is an AI-powered clinical consultation platform built for therapists. It helps you think through your cases, apply what you're learning in CEUs and trainings to real clients, practice difficult conversations, and grow as a clinician between supervision sessions.
Who is Steady for?
Steady is designed for licensed mental health professionals (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, psychologists) and those working toward licensure under supervision (LPC-A, LCSW-A, LMFT-A). Whether you're six months into your career or twenty years in, Steady meets you where you are.
Does Steady replace supervision?
No. Supervision is the relationship where a licensed clinician knows you, knows your caseload, and holds real accountability for your development. Steady can't do any of that, and it isn't trying to. What Steady does is sharpen your clinical thinking in the moments between supervision sessions, when a case is sitting in your head on a Wednesday afternoon and you want to work through it out loud. Use Steady to come into supervision with sharper questions, not to skip the meeting.
Does Steady diagnose or tell me what to do?
No. Steady is a thinking partner, not a clinical authority. It never provides diagnoses, treatment directives, or prescriptive recommendations. Every perspective Steady offers is framed as a consideration for you to evaluate using your own clinical judgment. Your expertise, your relationship with your client, and your professional responsibility always come first.
What therapeutic frameworks does Steady support?
Steady supports multi-framework conceptualization across CBT, EMDR, IFS, ACT, DBT, EFT, psychodynamic, attachment theory, somatic, ERP, systemic, Gottman, and more. It holds multiple lenses simultaneously and helps you see what each illuminates about your client.
What is the Clinical Basis panel?
Every consultation response includes a Clinical Basis block that shows which therapeutic frameworks informed the response, what client information was referenced, what information gaps exist, and the evidence basis for the direction discussed. This transparency lets you independently evaluate Steady's reasoning rather than taking it at face value.
Privacy & Security
Is Steady HIPAA compliant?
Yes. Steady is built on HIPAA-eligible AWS infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit, audit logging, multi-factor authentication, and role-based access controls. We have Business Associate Agreements in place with all subprocessors.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. We do not use your clinical content to train AI models. AI processing occurs via Amazon Bedrock, which does not use customer data for model training.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can delete individual client records and session histories at any time, and you can request full account deletion which removes all associated data from our systems.
Billing
How much does Steady cost?
Steady is $29/month or $290/year (save 17%). One plan with everything included, no tiers, no feature gates.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial with full access to every feature. You can cancel anytime during the trial and you won't be charged.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your access will continue through the end of your current billing period.
Technical
What AI model does Steady use?
Steady uses Anthropic's Claude, specifically designed for safety and helpfulness. All AI output is clinical consultation support. You independently evaluate every perspective using your professional judgment.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Steady is a web-based application that works in any modern browser on desktop or mobile. No downloads or installations required.
